Dr Abigail Pollington enjoys providing NHS general dentistry to a wide range of patients, with a strong focus on creating a calm and comfortable experience for everyone she treats. She graduated from Newcastle University in 2023 and has since gained experience in both general practice and hospital settings.
During her year in oral and maxillofacial surgery, Abigail developed strong medical and surgical skills while managing cases such as facial trauma, oral cancer and dental complications. This experience has helped her build confidence in treating a variety of patient needs with care, precision and reassurance. She particularly enjoys supporting nervous patients, taking the time to ensure they feel relaxed, informed and fully supported throughout their treatment. Abigail is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, comfortable and natural‑looking smiles. She is committed to ongoing professional development and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Outside of dentistry, Abigail enjoys swimming and taking long walks in the Peak District, making the most of the outdoors in her free time.
