Aparna Vidyashankar completed her bachelor’s degree at Rajiv Gandhi University for Health Sciences in Bengaluru, India, before working as a general dentist in India for three years. After moving to the UK, she successfully completed the Overseas Registration Examination (ORE) with the General Dental Council in 2013 and completed a year of Dental Foundation Training by equivalence in the West Midlands deanery area. In 2014, she was awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS RCS Edin). Since August 2016, Aparna has worked as an Associate Dentist in Cambridge. She has a particular interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry and has completed a Postgraduate Diploma, as well as becoming a fellow of the British Academy of Aesthetic Restorative and Implant Dentistry (BAARID). She is also a certified Bioclear practitioner, providing highly aesthetic, anatomically shaped anterior and posterior composite restorations. She is also trained in Invisalign and clear aligner treatment. Aparna combines her clinical experience with a patient-centred approach, helping patients achieve natural-looking, long-lasting smile transformations while ensuring they feel supported throughout their treatment journey.
