Mrs Chitra Pandurangan Reguna qualified in 2001 from MGR University, Chennai, India. She successfully ran a private dental practice in India before relocating to the UK with her husband. After moving, she passed the Overseas Registration Exam in 2011 and has since worked in both NHS and private practices across Scotland and England. She has been with mydentist for over 11 years. A strong believer in continuing professional development, Chitra completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Restorative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute in 2015 with distinction, followed by an MSc in Advanced Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry in 2024. She enjoys all aspects of restorative dentistry, particularly managing failing dentitions and toothwear, combining minimally invasive adhesive techniques with complex denture design. She also has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry. With over 20 years of experience, she treats patients of all ages, helps anxious patients, enjoys yoga, writing, travel, family and mindfulness practice.
