Dr Alex Vizireanu is an experienced General Dental Practitioner with a specialist interest in implant dentistry. He qualified from Bucharest University in 2004 as a Doctor of Dental Surgery before undertaking further postgraduate training in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Alongside this, he completed a degree in general medicine in 2008, broadening his clinical knowledge and expertise.
Dr Vizireanu moved to the UK in 2009, where he gained extensive experience in NHS dentistry while continuing to develop his skills in oral surgery and dental implant treatment. He is a member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and has completed additional academic and clinical training through ITI and Straumann-affiliated programmes, reflecting his commitment to ongoing professional development. In 2024, he achieved a Master’s Degree in Clinical Implantology from the University of Central Lancashire. He accepts both straightforward and complex implant referrals and provides a wide range of prosthodontic, aesthetic restorative, and endodontic treatments. Outside of dentistry, Dr Vizireanu enjoys spending time with his family and stays active through open-water swimming and distance running.
