With over 25 years of clinical experience, Dr Richard Aldridge has a special interest in dental implants and advanced restorative dentistry. After qualifying from Guy’s Hospital in London in 2002, he gained membership to the Royal College of Surgeons in 2004. After moving to Plymouth, Richard joined mydentist in 2007 and now treats private patients seeking long-lasting treatment outcomes. He has extensive experience working with Straumann implants and uses innovative techniques designed to support healing and promote long-term implant stability. Richard also manages more complex implant cases, including those requiring sinus lifts, tenting and bone grafts. These procedures can help provide additional support where needed and contribute to the longevity and stability of treatment. Alongside implant dentistry, Richard provides a range of treatments including general dentistry, facial aesthetics, teeth whitening, Invisalign clear aligners, Six Month Smiles and SmileFast composite bonding. He is committed to delivering personalised care and helping patients achieve results that meet their individual needs and goals. Outside of the practice, Richard enjoys scuba diving and spending time with his daughter and two dogs.
