Dr Elena Mirela Gavrila grew up in Galati, Romania, and went on to study dentistry at Gr. T. Popa University in Iasi, graduating in 2016. After moving to the UK, she completed her VET training in 2018 and later supported newly qualified dentists, helping them build confidence as they began their clinical careers. Elena is dedicated to providing calm, patient‑centred care and believes strongly in creating a positive experience for every patient. She particularly enjoys supporting nervous patients, taking the time to reassure them and help them feel comfortable throughout their visit. She finds the most rewarding part of her role is seeing patients leave with a smile — feeling happy, confident and free from fear of the dentist. Building trust and long‑term relationships is important to her, and she focuses on clear communication and a gentle approach to care. Outside of mydentist, Elena enjoys spending time with friends and reading. She is committed to ongoing professional development and continues to expand her skills through regular training and education.
