Dr Haania Saeed graduated from the University of Health Sciences, Pakistan, in 2015, followed by a year of foundation training in private practice. She went on to complete a Clinical Master’s in Periodontology (2018–2022) at the University of Manchester, graduating with distinction. Dr Haania has also obtained Speciality Membership and subsequently Fellowship in Periodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and she is a member of the British Society of Periodontology. Her interests lie in minimally invasive periodontal procedures with the aim of preserving teeth wherever possible. She believes that controlling and preventing periodontitis requires lifestyle modification and behavioural management, with patient education and adherence to a tailored regime being key to long‑term success. Dr Haania has extensive experience in performing non‑surgical periodontal therapy with excellent outcomes following the MINST protocol, including cases of bony regeneration achieved through non‑surgical means. She also provides a range of surgical periodontal treatments, including pocket‑reduction surgery, bony regeneration for vertical and furcation defects, and gum grafting for recession defects using both autogenous and exogenous biomaterials.
