Helen is an Orthodontic Therapist who began her career in dentistry in 2003. After qualifying as a dental nurse in 2005 and gaining her dental radiography qualification in 2011, she went on to specialise in orthodontics, training at the Leeds Dental Institute before achieving her Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2015. Helen enjoys all aspects of her role, particularly supporting patients throughout their treatment and seeing the results at the end of their orthodontic journey. Working closely alongside the orthodontist and a specialised orthodontic nurse, she helps ensure patients at mydentist Northam receive the best possible orthodontic care and treatment. Together, the team supports patients through every stage of treatment, from consent and treatment planning through to the completion of care. By providing treatment locally at the Northam practice, Helen and the wider team help reduce the need for travel, making the experience as convenient and stress-free as possible while supporting a positive patient journey.
