Khalid Malik is a UK-registered specialist in restorative dentistry, periodontics, endodontics and prosthodontics. He qualified at the University of Glasgow in 2000, where he received a class medal in prosthodontics. Following graduation, he spent the next eight years undertaking advanced training in some of the busiest clinical units, working alongside experienced clinicians and developing his skills across a range of disciplines, with a particular focus on dental implants. After gaining accreditation from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2008, Khalid went on to hold NHS consultant posts in restorative dentistry in Birmingham and Peterborough. Throughout his consultant career, he has cared for patients requiring complex, multidisciplinary treatment, many of whom undergo oral rehabilitation involving dental implants. Khalid is committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice and professional development. He is a member of the Higher Education Authority, the College of General Dentistry and the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons in England. He is also a member of the International Team for Implantology, the European Association for Osseointegration, and both the British Periodontal Society and the British Prosthodontic Society.
