Laura Chishti is originally from Morpeth and moved to Leeds to study dentistry at the University of Leeds, where she graduated and qualified in 2026. After qualifying, she joined the mydentist Ashington practice in September 2026, providing care for both NHS and private patients and delivering emergency dental treatment for children and adults. Laura is committed to making every patient feel comfortable and supported throughout their appointment. She takes the time to help patients feel at ease and aims to ensure they leave feeling happy with the care they have received. Building positive relationships and creating a welcoming environment for patients are important parts of her approach to dentistry. At the start of her career, Laura is enthusiastic about continuing to develop her skills and knowledge, and she is fully committed to furthering her dental education as she progresses professionally. Outside of dentistry, Laura enjoys expressing her creativity through art projects and other creative activities. She is pleased to be living closer to home, allowing her to spend more time with friends and family.
