Luke Irving graduated from the University of Leeds in 2025 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Surgery, beginning his professional journey with a strong academic foundation. He is currently undertaking a joint Dental Foundation and Core Training programme, which allows him to gain valuable hands‑on experience across multiple areas of dentistry. His training includes work in general dental practice and involvement in oral surgery within the Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Castle Hill Hospital, where he continues to develop a broad range of clinical skills. In addition to his clinical work, Luke recently took on the role of Chairman of the British Dental Association for Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire, reflecting his commitment to professional leadership and the wider dental community. He is passionate about continuous learning, improving patient outcomes, and delivering patient‑centred care. Outside of dentistry, Luke enjoys spending time with friends at pub quizzes and relaxing with a good book.
