Dr Mohamed Elneklawy qualified in 2004 from Cairo University in Egypt, where he built a strong foundation in clinical dentistry. In 2007, he began three years of specialist training in Restorative Dentistry with a subspecialty in Endodontics, ultimately achieving the prestigious Membership in Restorative Dentistry in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. His passion for teaching led him to establish the Royal Dentists Institute in 2011, which has since become a leading postgraduate dental training centre in the Middle East. Alongside his academic work, Dr Mohamed ran his private practice in Cairo from 2009, performing advanced endodontic treatments under a surgical operating microscope and receiving regional referrals for complex cases. In 2016, he moved to the UK to join the School of Dentistry at the University of Leeds as a Clinical Teaching Fellow in Restorative Dentistry, focusing on teaching endodontics to undergraduate and postgraduate students while running endodontic troubleshooting clinics. In 2018, he registered on the GDC Specialist List as a Specialist Endodontist. Dr Mohamed welcomes referrals for endodontic treatments, re‑treatments and management of complications, ensuring every patient receives a thorough assessment, clear explanations and high‑quality care.
