Nina Asafu-Adjaye is a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist who has been part of mydentist since 2004. She qualified as an Oral Health Practitioner from Queen Mary University in 2011 before going on to study Dental Hygiene and Therapy at King’s College Dental School, qualifying in 2014. Since then, she has provided care for patients across multiple practices in and around South West London. Nina is known for her patient-centred approach, bringing empathy or energy to every appointment depending on what each individual needs. She is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable in her care and confident in their smiles. Alongside her clinical work, Nina has completed training in Dental Photography and achieved a Certificate in Advanced Dental Leadership (CADL). She is also a trained Facial Aesthetic Practitioner, providing anti-ageing treatments and dermal fillers. Away from practice, Nina volunteers in schools and nurseries, delivering oral health education to children, teachers, nursery nurses and parents to help support good oral health habits. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, swimming, baking and spending time with her family.
