Dr Poonam Jethwa qualified from the University of Leeds in 2013, where she received the Dentsply Gold Medal for the most meritorious performance. Following her graduation, Dr Jethwa undertook further training in oral and facial surgery, spending a year in a hospital setting under the guidance of maxillofacial specialist consultants. Dr Jethwa is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. She has completed an advanced course in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry, enhancing her skills in procedures such as aesthetic fillings, crowns, and bridges. She remains committed to learning and is working towards a diploma in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry to further refine her clinical expertise. Poonam is known for her gentle and compassionate approach towards her patients. She prides herself on her patient communication. Her calm and reassuring demeanour helps to put even the most anxious patients at ease. Outside of dentistry, Poonam loves to travel and explore the world. She is passionate about giving back to the community and has previously volunteered for a dental charity in Vietnam. Poonam is a foodie and enjoys eating and cooking food from all over the world. You can often find her in the garden making pizzas in her pizza oven!
