Rebecca Evans is a Dental Hygiene Therapist in Plympton, passionate about helping patients achieve healthier smiles and feel confident about their oral health. She began her career in dentistry in 2008, training as a Dental Nurse in Estover, Plymouth, where she gained valuable experience supporting patients through a wide range of treatments. Rebecca went on to study at Plymouth Peninsula Dental School and graduated with a BSc in Dental Hygiene Therapy in 2018. She chose a career in dental therapy because it gave her the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients and make a positive difference to their overall wellbeing. Known by many patients as the South West’s "Gentle Hygienist", Rebecca is committed to helping change perceptions of hygiene appointments. Her calm, sympathetic and non-judgemental approach helps even nervous patients feel comfortable in her care. She enjoys creating personalised treatment plans tailored to each patient’s individual needs. Rebecca provides dental hygiene appointments, periodontal (gum) treatment, Airflow stain removal, teeth whitening and more. Outside of work, Rebecca is married to her childhood sweetheart and has three children. She enjoys spending time by the sea, discovering great coffee shops, reading and making memories with her family.
