Ricardo Fernandes completed his dental degree in Porto, Portugal, before relocating to England in 2008. Since 2009, he has been proudly working within the NHS, gaining extensive experience across a wide range of clinical settings and patient needs. Ricardo holds a Master’s Degree and has developed a special interest in oral surgery, a field in which he has built considerable experience over the years. More recently, he has broadened his clinical focus to include clear aligners, a discreet teeth straightening treatment and restorative dentistry. These areas continue to evolve rapidly, especially with the integration of digital technologies such as 3D scanning, which are transforming both treatment planning and patient outcomes. Ricardo says that because of this, he is genuinely enthusiastic about the future of dentistry and the improvements in care that innovation continues to make possible. Ricardo lives near Beverley with his family, and outside of his professional life, he enjoys spending time outdoors. He enjoys waking, cycling and taking part in orienteering with his local club keep him active and connected to the community.
