Sourov Rana studied dentistry at the University of Birmingham, qualifying in 2005. Since then, he has built a diverse and well‑rounded career, combining his NHS work with a wide range of private cosmetic treatments designed to enhance his patients’ smiles. He offers veneers, stain removal, teeth whitening and tooth‑coloured fillings, and takes great satisfaction in helping patients feel more confident about their appearance. After a decade in NHS general practice, Sourov developed a strong interest in facial aesthetics, recognising how naturally these treatments complement modern dentistry. In November 2015, he completed advanced training with Brian Franks, covering Foundation Part 1 Botulinum Toxin A and Foundation Dermal Fillers Parts 1 and 2 using Hyaluronic Acid. His training focused on treatment planning, facial muscle anatomy, risk assessment and hands‑on experience in delivering safe, effective anti‑wrinkle treatments. This additional expertise allows him to take a more holistic approach to facial harmony and patient care. Outside of dentistry, Sourov has a real passion for music and was previously part of a band. He also enjoys cycling and spending quality time with his family, helping him maintain a healthy balance between his professional and personal life.
