Dr Spiros Nikolaou graduated in 2017 from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Iuliu Hațieganu in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He began his career in private dentistry in the Netherlands, where he developed a strong interest in restorative dentistry and endodontics. Since joining mydentist in 2021, Spiros has provided general dental care to both NHS and private patients. Committed to ongoing professional development, Spiros has completed two postgraduate Master's degrees. In 2023, he achieved a Master's degree in Prosthodontics in Siena, Italy, further developing his expertise in restorative, cosmetic and rehabilitative dentistry. He later completed a Master's degree in Dental Implantology at Aston University in Birmingham, expanding his knowledge of implant dentistry and surgical treatment. Spiros is a member of the European Prosthodontic Association and the International Team for Implantology (ITI), reflecting his commitment to modern, evidence-based dentistry. He also provides orthodontic treatment using the ClearCorrect® aligner system and incorporates digital dentistry into his clinical workflow to support treatment planning, patient comfort and efficiency. Spiros works closely with patients to understand their needs and treatment goals. He speaks English, Dutch, Greek and Romanian, helping him communicate with and support a diverse range of patients.
