Thomas Park, who goes by Tom, graduated from The University of Manchester in 2013. He passed the examinations required to join the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and later the College of General Dental Surgery. Early in his career, Tom gained experience through training posts at Liverpool Dental Hospital, Aintree Hospital and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. He has recently begun a Postgraduate Certificate in Contemporary Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry (2026) and he looks forward to using this advanced training to further benefit his patients. Tom has experience working in both general practice and the community dental service, giving him a broad understanding of patients’ needs across different ages and backgrounds. He was invited to write a chapter for a book published by Oxford University Press (Oxford Assess and Progress: Clinical Dentistry, OUP 2019). The book has been well received and Tom is proud of his academic work, which includes co‑authoring dental articles and presenting research at national and international events and conferences. Outside work, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and dog. He loves to travel and explore new places, so feel free to ask him about his adventures or how you might spot him on Netflix
