Tina McGowan began her career in dentistry in 1987 as a Student Dental Nurse in her hometown of Weymouth. She gained her Dental Nursing qualification at Cardiff Dental School in 1991 and, after training at King’s College Hospital, London, qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1993. In 2001, Tina further expanded her skill set by qualifying as a Dental Therapist through Liverpool University, allowing her to carry out additional procedures such as fillings and extractions. Since 2003, Tina has been working in her home county of Dorset, where she has built a wealth of experience across NHS, private, and corporate dentistry. Known for her dedication to patient care, she continues to stay up to date with professional development and extended duties.
Tina is passionate about providing comprehensive care and is committed to supporting her patients in achieving and maintaining excellent oral health. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys life in Dorset with her husband and daughter.
