Abdul has been at the {my}dentist Bury Bell Lane practice since February 2012 where he offers a wide range of general dental treatment and has a keen interest in aesthetic dentistry. Abdul has a keen interest in Orthodontic treatments and provides clear correct for teeth straightening at the practice. He also has a loyal patient base through his Denplan List. In the future he wishes to continue attending courses to remain up to date and enhance his skills further. As Abdul is from Bury he enjoys treating patients from the local community. In his spare time Abdul enjoys playing football, computing and spending time with his family.

Ayo qualified in 1997 from Ibadan and has accumulated a wealth of experience working across various practices in the UK. He joined the team at Uttoxeter in October 2015. Throughout his career, Ayo has maintained a strong interest in Endodontology, and his passion for this field has led him to undertake advanced training at the Dental Educational Laboratories in Santa Barbara, California, and a six-month endodontic course at the IDH Academy.Ayo’s training has been directly applied in practice, where he now provides expert endodontic care, including complex root canal treatments, often using an operating microscope. He offers these services both through in-house referrals and external referrals. Additionally, Ayo is skilled in providing complex white restorations, tooth-coloured crowns, teeth whitening, private fillings, dentures, and all aspects of NHS care.Looking ahead, Ayo is eager to specialise exclusively in endodontics and expand his expertise further, particularly as new technologies and equipment continue to enhance the field.

Catherine graduated as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist BSc (Hons) from Peninsula Dental School at the University of Plymouth in 2020. She began her dental career in 2013 and completed her dental nurse training in 2015 so is well adapted to the profession. Catherine takes a patient centred approach and is passionate about working with patients to educate and treat them to encourage excellent oral health, taking a holistic approach to fundamentally place prevention of disease and the individual care of patients above all else. She enjoys all aspects of her role and her calm nature particularly helps ease nervous patients. In her spare time, she enjoys soaking up the sunshine on walks with her husband and visiting friends and family. On the rainy days, she likes to snuggle up on the sofa with their cat Baloo and has recently self-taught to crochet.

Since 2006 Lef has been providing, teaching and researching implant dentistry, oral surgery and conscious sedation both in leading teaching hospitals and private clinics. Currently he works in Oral surgery at London’ King’s College Hospital and specialist private clinics in Harley Street and High Street Kensington. Having obtained the highest qualification in implant dentistry, an MSc from the University of Manchester in 2008, he’s since dedicated his private clinical time to dental implants.He is skilled in advanced surgical and restorative procedures; including bone and soft tissue grafting, fixed or removable full arches and sinus lift. He accepts referrals for failed dental implant treatments and uses digital software and lasers for planning. Lef has published and presented several scientific publications nationally and internationally on the topics of dental implants and sedation.Apart from quality his priorities are good rapport and clear communication with the patient, aiming to achieve life-changing smiles.

Nik, originally from Bulgaria, qualified as a dental surgeon in 2001. He has a patient-centred approach to dentistry and aims to provide individual, tailored treatment to each patient in a relaxed and approachable manner by building rapport with his patients and ensuring they are involved in their treatment planning every step of the way, and equips them with the skills they need to achieve their treatment goals and maintain a healthy mouth. Nik has a great relationship with his patients and co-workers and offers a great range of NHS and private treatments, providing his best patient care. Nikolay always ensures that his patients leave with a confident smile.

Vasileios graduated from the School of Dentistry, University of Athens in 2012. Following his graduation he worked in private practices in Greece and joined {my}dentist Bognor team in 2017.Vasileios has completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontics and is continuing towards the MSc in Endodontology. He enjoys all aspects of Endodontology, including complex primary cases and retreatments and always works with the referring dentists to achieve the best possible treatment outcome for the patients. As an active member of the British Endodontic Society and the British Society of Periodontology, he is a firm believer in continuous professional development to ensure he keeps up to date with the current advancements. The root canal treatment procedures are carried out with the aid of high magnification loupes and operating microscope and using the highest quality modern materials. Outside work, he enjoys reading, cooking and taking long walks.

Charles Okany Hygienist

Charles obtained his Bachelor of Dental sciences degree in 2006 from University of Lagos and went on to obtain postgraduate qualifications in the fields of public health and research in London. He is an accredited member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Charles spent the earlier part of his career in secondary care working in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Dental Public Health and community dentistry. Charles in various roles has provided supervision, mentoring and support to overseas trained dentists. Charles has a keen interest in preventative, restorative and implant dentistry and has a postgraduate masters in dental implantology.
