Tochukwu Udeh Implantologist Qualified from: BDS Queen Mary University of London 2018 GDC No: 278834

Since graduating from Queen Mary University of London, Dr Tochukwu Udeh has been committed to providing the highest standard of dental care to every patient he treats. He understands that many people feel anxious about visiting the dentist, which inspired him to undertake further training in Intravenous Sedation. This additional expertise enables him to support nervous patients through more complex procedures, ensuring they feel relaxed, comfortable, and fully reassured throughout their treatment. To further develop his clinical skills, Dr Udeh completed a Master’s degree in Implantology at the University of Central Lancashire. He has developed a strong interest in dental implants, helping patients replace missing or damaged teeth with reliable, natural‑looking solutions designed to restore both function and confidence. Known for his kind and approachable manner, Dr Udeh is dedicated to making every patient feel at ease from the moment they arrive. Eugen graduated from Craiova,Romania in 2004. He moved to live in Torquay along with his wife and daughter in 2017Eugen offers a high standard and range of treatment in both NHS and private dentistry. Eugen is also an accredited practitioner to offer ClearCorrect, teeth straightening for adults. He is passionate about his job and shows a great empathy for his patients, making them feel at ease and comfortable in the dental chair whatever treatment he is performing, always in a calm and relaxed environment.Eugen loves spending time with his family, spending time outdoors, walking, family holidays, cooking and eating great food.

Iza was born in Poland and graduated as a Dental Surgeon (Stomatolog) in 1996 at the Medical Academy, Bialystok.After qualifying as a Dentist, Iza worked in Poland and also completed dental training in Switzerland.Iza moved to England in 2005, and has since worked in Torbay treating patients within General Dentistry. Iza has attended numerous courses to keep up to date with the latest techniques in Dentistry. She is particularly interested in Cosmetic Restorative Dentistry as well as teeth straightening using clear aligner systems.In her spare time Iza likes to spend time with her family enjoying the beaches and beautiful countryside which surrounds Torbay.

Katherine Porter qualified in 1999 from Birmingham Dental School and has been working in the bay for many year as a General Dentist. Kate has worked as an NHS dentist in Torbay and has a wealth of experience from this.Kate’s calm manner helps put nervous patients at ease and enables her to treat those who are anxious or phobic of dental treatment. Kate enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and works hard to ensure all her patients are comfortable and happy while at the practice. Outside of work Kate enjoys spending time relaxing at home and the challenges of knitting.

In 2024, Dr Mahdi Jaffal graduated with a Master’s in Health Sciences and the qualification of Doctor of Odontologist from the Lithuanian University of Health and Sciences. Dr Mahdi is qualified and happy to accept referrals for minor oral surgeries and complex tooth extractions. With a solid foundation in both theory and hands-on clinical practice, he brings precision, care, and calm confidence to each procedure. His dedication to dentistry is about providing practical solutions and ensuring patients feel comfortable and well-informed. Mahdi has just recently moved to Devon and is enjoying exploring the area. He prides himself on delivering outstanding patient care through good communication and high quality treatment this role allows Mahdi to stay engaged with the latest advancements medical science and to continue to build his career .Outside of work he likes swimming and is enjoying discovering all the wonderful beaches we have in the area he also enjoys football and going to the gym.

Kevin graduated in 2001 from Birmingham School of Dental Hygiene and set about making dentistry more comfortable for patients. Kevin has been with the practice since 2017 and brings a wealth of experience in providing quality dental care. Despite being 6’5” he is known as the gentle giant and is passionate about helping his patients to maintain excellent oral hygiene. His empathetic, caring nature is a real asset particularly when working with nervous patients.Outside of dentistry Kevin enjoys time out with his family who are very theatrical and sporty, which keeps very busy but always finds time to support his childhood team Torquay United.
