Nik graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2003 and has continued his professional training ever since. He is passionate about providing high-quality private dental care and believes that precision and attention to detail are the cornerstones of excellent dentistry.
Using advanced magnification from the dental microscope, he ensures meticulous treatment and exceptional clinical outcomes for his patients. In 2010, he gained his postgraduate certificate in root canal treatments, enabling him to manage complex endodontic procedures with confidence. Two years later, he became a full member of the College of General Dental Practitioners (MCGDent), formally recognising his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and ethical practice.
Nik continually seeks to refine his knowledge and skills. He takes particular interest in digital technologies, from 3D imaging and intraoral scanning to minimally invasive techniques that enhance both comfort and aesthetics. He enjoys integrating innovation into everyday dentistry, always aiming to make treatment more predictable and patient-focused.
Outside of work, Nik leads an active lifestyle. He enjoys snowboarding, running through the Peak District, and experimenting with photography—although he admits that capturing the perfect shot can sometimes test his patience.

Since 2009 until 2021 Alina has worked as an associate dentist within the NHS and private sector. Since 2021, Alina developed a massive interest in facial aesthetics, cosmetic dentistry & orthodontics (teeth straightening/ clear braces). Emanuel Chavunduka graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1996 and has been committed to delivering caring, patient‑focused dentistry ever since. He’s known for his warm, approachable manner and loves taking the time to chat with his patients, helping even the most nervous visitors feel comfortable and supported. Emanuel is passionate about ongoing professional development and has a particular interest in Minor Oral Surgery, for which he is currently working towards a diploma. He regularly carries out a wide range of oral surgery procedures, including the removal of mesio‑angular impacted wisdom teeth, retained roots, and other complex cases. Using advanced techniques such as Piezo and surgical handpiece systems with irrigation, he is confident managing treatments of varying difficulty and is always happy to discuss the best options for each patient.
Alongside his surgical work, Emanuel also provides orthodontic treatment using ClearCorrect aligners, helping patients achieve straighter smiles with a discreet and modern approach. Outside of mydentist, Emanuel enjoys travelling abroad and cycling, often using both to unwind and explore new places.

Jeevan qualified as a dentist in 2018 at Sheffield University and has been practicing ever since. He is passionate about his profession and all aspects of dentistry with a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry, but also believes 'anybody with toothache has to be dealt with then and there'. Jeevan joined our Chesterfield team in April 2025 offering affordable private dentistry to our new and existing patients. Jeevan believes that kindness and empathy go a long way and tries to treat all of his patients as if he would his own family, he enjoys taking his patients on a journey and transforming their life, building confidence and being a part in helping people smile again. Jeevan's commitment is to give the best dental experience he possibly can with a focus on fulfilling his patients needs in a safe, comfortable and enjoyable environment. Professor Yates is a clinical teacher in all aspects of Oral Surgery. He is extensively involved in UG and PG teaching including the very popular MSc course in Oral Surgery. He has extensive experience in all aspects of oral surgery and implantology – routine and complex dentoalveolar surgery, intra and extra oral including soft and hard tissue reconstruction/augmentation, single teeth to whole mouth rehabilitation. His research interests include regenerative therapies utilising dental pulp stem cells and additive manufacturing techniques (3D printing) to help replace facial hard and soft tissues.

Since qualifying in 2015, Spencer has specialised in combining traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge digital technology to deliver exceptional, comfortable, and natural-looking dentures.
Since 2020, Spencer has mastered the full 360° digital denture workflow, from intraoral scanning with Trios to designing with 3Shape and delivering predictable, accurate results. He is passionate about patient engagement, reducing chair time, and improving outcomes through innovation.
Alongside his clinical work, Spencer supports clinicians with training in digital denture workflows, offering live demonstrations, hands-on sessions, and consulting on best lab design practices for predictable results. His approach bridges the gap between clinic and lab, helping dental teams transition smoothly into the digital era.
When he’s not in clinic, Spencer dedicates time to developing scalable training programs to help more clinicians adopt digital workflows, ultimately transforming the patient experience across the UK.

Ayesha Chowdhury GDP

Ayesha qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2005. Since then she has racked up experience in general dental practice as well as seeing patients with special needs and/or dental anxiety in the community dental services. Having grown up in Chesterfield she returned to her home town in 2012 and has been working locally ever since. She has a special interest in minor oral surgery and has spent time shadowing specialists in the field as well as doing additional courses. Ayesha values continuity and making her patients feel at ease. She looks forward to establishing good relations with her regular patients and providing them with high quality dental care.

Catarina Cardoso was born in Viseu, Portugal, and graduated from the Portuguese Catholic University in Viseu in July 2025. During her studies, she developed a strong passion for patient-centred care and continuous professional development. After qualifying, she began working in Portugal before taking the next step in her career by relocating to the UK. Catarina has a particular interest in paediatric dentistry, with a special affinity for caring for children, babies, pregnant women and patients with additional needs. She is also highly interested in orthodontics and is beginning a ClearCorrect course to further expand her knowledge and clinical skills. Known for her caring and approachable nature, Catarina enjoys building trusting relationships with her patients and helping them feel comfortable and at ease during treatment. She is motivated and dedicated, and she values providing a positive dental experience for every patient. Her experience working in different environments has also helped her become adaptable, confident, and open-minded in both her professional and personal life. Outside of dentistry, Catarina has a strong passion for sport, particularly CrossFit, and enjoys competing whenever possible. She also enjoys watching football and Formula 1.

Jane has a great relationship with her patients and co workers and offers a range of NHS and private treatments.Outside of work, Jane is a keen runner and enjoys going to the gym. She also enjoys travel and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

He’s passionate about providing care to his patients in Chesterfield and enjoys the diversity of high street general practice. He’s an enthusiastic participant in local continuing professional development and peer review and takes great pride in being a dentist who pays attention to every patient’s needs and detail, maintaining very high standards and delivering treatments in a relaxed and caring, ethical and professional manner in every case. Outside of work he loves the hills and the great outdoors, cycling and best of all, time with his family.

Preventing gum disease and tooth decay are her top priorities and she endeavors to help patients improve their oral health.Out of work, Annette loves the outdoors, cosy cafes and nice holidays. Katie is passionate about educating her patients, enabling them to improve their oral health. She also enjoys working with anxious patients, building a rapport with them and seeing their confidence improve. Outside of work Katie enjoys a variety of sports including running and skiing as well as exploring the Peak District and travelling.

Rebecca Redford, Dental Hygienist & Therapist, from the University of Sheffield in 2003 has more than 20 years of experience across both NHS and private practices. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages and helping them feel confident about their oral health. Rebecca is passionate about providing gentle, compassionate dental care in a relaxed and friendly environment. Supporting anxious patients is especially important to her, and she focuses on creating calm, positive experiences for anyone who may feel nervous about treatment. Working closely with her caring dental nurse, Rebecca ensures every patient feels comfortable during their filling, extraction or hygiene appointment. Her gentle approach may include offering patients the chance to listen to their own music or taking time to talk with them before treatment begins. Outside of mydentist, Rebecca loves spending time with her family. Sundays are dedicated to watching her youngest play football and catching up with family and friends. You may also find her in Manchester from time to time, cheering on her favourite football team. Rebecca also enjoys travelling, exploring new cities and experiencing different cultures and cuisines with her family.
