She has had four years worth of experience in rotational placements as a trainee registrar in; Oral and maxillofacial surgery, anesthesiology, general surgery, plastic surgery, neurosurgery, prosthodontics and orthodontics. In November 2008 Asma achieved a Gold medal (distinction) in Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology at the University of Health Sciences, Lahore.Outside of work Asma is kept busy with her two young children and husband, who is also a doctor!

Soumayya Alhajeh is an experienced Associate Dentist with an interest in offering Invisalign treatment, composite bonding and other cosmetic dental options. She has been helping her patients achieve more confident, natural-looking smiles and providing high-quality dental care since 1999. Soumayya has been practising in the UK since 2011. She is a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry from Warwick University, along with advanced restorative training from the Dominic Hassall Training Institute. Known for her calm, friendly, and empathetic approach, Soumayya is particularly skilled at caring for nervous patients and those with previous dental anxieties. She is passionate about ongoing professional development and takes pride in delivering ethical, personalised care while building long-term relationships with her patients. Soumayya enjoys travelling, art, and dancing outside of dentistry and is committed to helping every patient feel comfortable, informed and confident in their smile.

After leaving school Carol began further education at Lytham St Anne’s college in Lancashire, to train as a Dental Surgery Assistant. Carol continued her nursing training in a local dental practice.After qualifying as a dental nurse Carol decided to further her career in Dental Hygiene at Birmingham Dental Hospital and qualified in 1982. Carol has worked as a Dental Hygienist in various practices up and down the country which has given her a wealth of experience in all aspects of Oral Hygiene, Scaling, Periodontics and Air-Polishing. Carol loves meeting people and specifically building a rapport with her patients and always aims to provide a friendly and relaxed environment in which to carry out their treatment.Carol has been working as a Dental Hygienist for over 30 years, gaining vast experience in all aspects of her role. Carol enjoys keeping up to date with current trends and developments in the wider scope of dentistry.When not in work Carol enjoys spending time with her family and ever growing grandchildren. She also regularly catches up with friends, eats out and keeps fit and active including going to the gym.
