Dr Marina Dourou graduated with Honours from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London and has received multiple awards and recognitions for academic and clinical excellence.
Dr Dourou is a dedicated dentist with a special interest in periodontology, currently pursuing the prestigious specialist training program in Periodontology at King’s College London.
Prior to commencing her specialty training, Dr Dourou served as a Senior House Officer in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery performing complex surgical procedures, including biopsies, surgical extractions and management of traumatic injuries.
She was also appointed as an Honorary Clinical Research Fellow at the QMUL Centre for Oral Clinical Research, where she actively engaged in clinical trials, undertook clinical audits and provided advanced periodontal treatments.
Dr Dourou has co-authored and published research in leading journals, focusing on advanced periodontal therapies and implant dentistry, complementing her clinical expertise.
Dr Dourou is a member of the British Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry and the Royal College of Surgeons of England after completing her MFDS qualification in 2023. Marina is committed to delivering evidence-based care and enhancing patient outcomes in periodontal health.

Eleni Smyrniotou GDP

Dr Eleni Smyrniotou graduated as a dentist from the University of Athens in Greece in 1990. Following graduation she trained in the use of Laser in Dentistry for periodontal treatments, whitening and oral microsurgery. Eleni has over 20 years of experience in private practice, with a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, advanced restorative dentistry and laser treatment. Throughout 1990-2012 she was also assessing and approving private dental work for a Greek insurance company. Eleni has trained in Aesthetic Orthodontics (Invisalign) and Facial Aesthetics (anti-aging treatments and dermal fillers). Additionally, she offers private treatments including Whitening and Denture Excellence. Since 2012 Eleni has been working in Cambridgeshire offering a wide range of NHS and private treatments.

Vaios Douros GDP

Dr Vaios Douros trained at the University of Athens in Greece, and qualified as a dentist in 1990. After graduating, he worked in the maxillofacial department of the Athens University Dental Hospital for 2 years. Vaios spent a further 2.5 years treating patients at the Orthodontic Central Clinic of Athens, with a special interest in preventative orthodontic treatment. He has also specialised in the use of a Laser in dentistry (KTP, ND, EmR-Y) for periodontal treatments, whitening and oral microsurgery. Vaios has a keen interest in advanced restorative treatment, laser treatment, cosmetic dentistry and prosthetics on implants. Vaios works Saturdays and from June he will be going fully private. Andrea Hammond Hygienist

Andrea has worked in dentistry since 1996, starting her career as a qualified dental nurse.
She went on to further her training at the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital, qualifying as both a dental hygienist and dental therapist in 2000.
Throughout her career, Andrea has taken on a wide variety of roles, combining clinical work with broader professional responsibilities.
She currently serves as Chair for the General Dental Council’s Fitness to Practise panel and is the regional representative for the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy. Additionally, she is collaborating with Haleon to support a community-based initiative that provides free access to dental advice and education.
Andrea is deeply passionate about delivering the highest standard of care to all her patients. She is frequently described as both thorough and gentle and is committed to helping individuals improve their oral health through compassionate, evidence-based treatment.
Beyond her professional life, Andrea gives her time to volunteer work and enjoys an active home life.
She is a devoted parent to two teenage children who keep her busy and inspired every day.
