She graduated as a dentist in 1995 from the Faculty of Dentistry in Târgu-Mure?, Romania, before completing her Specialist Orthodontics degree at the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Timi?oara, Romania, 5 years later. Dr. Vulcu was added to the UK Orthodontic Specialist List in 2010 and is an member of the British Orthodontic Society.With years of postgraduate training in orthodontics, Dr. Vulcu uses fixed braces as well as the Invisalign clear aligner system to treat her patients and has extensive experience working with both adults and children. She is dedicated to offering tailored orthodontic treatments, ensuring that each patient receives care that suits their unique needs. For many years he has been a Platinum Plus Invisalign Orthodontist treating over 100 cases a year. He received additional training with the “Invisalign Teen” range of products to enable him to provide better Invisalign treatments for younger patients. In addition to Invisalign, Peter has extensive experience with conventional fixed braces, and the range of more cosmetic fixed braces currently available. Peter is married with three children and two grandchildren. He enjoys sailing and is a qualified Yachtmaster Offshore. Photography and diving are amongst his other hobbies.

Benjamin especially enjoys helping to build nervous patient’s confidence in the surgery and seeing people being happy with a new smile. He strives to provide clear communication of all the available options and to deliver pain free and relaxing treatmentHe prides himself on his gentle and calming approach, whilst maintaining the highest standards of dental care. In his spare time, Ben enjoys spending time in the beautiful Devon country side, with his Boxer Bessie and daughter Rose.

Emma tailors her dental hygiene appointments and treatment plans to the individual person, from anxious patients, patients that have never seen a dental hygienist before, to patients that have appointments every three months. Emma is passionate about providing people with the knowledge to empower themselves to take control of their oral health and overall wellbeing.

Fiona began her dental career in 2006 after qualifying as a Dental Nurse with the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN). She worked at a private practice in Tavistock before transitioning to Orthodontics, joining Bristol Orthodontics in 2012. During her time there, Fiona gained additional qualifications in Dental Radiography, Oral Health Education, and Impression Taking.
With over three years of experience in Orthodontics, Fiona moved to Crescent Specialist Dental Centre, where she further honed her skills. In 2018, she achieved her qualification as an Orthodontic Therapist, graduating from The Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
In 2021, Fiona took a two-year sabbatical to join her husband and two children on a military deployment to Brunei. During this time, she enjoyed exploring new cultures and traveling with her family. After returning home in 2023, Fiona was excited to rejoin the Crescent team and is eager to help guide you on your own orthodontic journey
