Dr Andreea Costea graduated from the Carol Davila Faculty of Dentistry in Bucharest, Romania, in 2011. After practising dentistry in her home country for four years, she moved to the UK's south coast in 2016 to continue developing her clinical skills and experience. With a particular interest in restorative aesthetic dentistry, Dr Costea has completed several master-level training programmes focused on minimally invasive treatments. Her areas of interest include composite bonding, rubber dam techniques and the SmileFast protocol. She also provides ClearCorrect clear aligner treatment and offers Curodont® as a non-invasive option for suitable cases of early caries. Looking ahead, she hopes to further expand her skills in facial aesthetics and implant-based restorative dentistry. She takes the time to ensure patients feel comfortable, informed and involved in decisions about their treatment. Her calm and positive manner helps create a relaxed environment, while her attention to detail and gentle approach aim to make treatment as comfortable as possible. Outside of dentistry, Andreea enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle, including seaside walks, swimming and sports. She also enjoys painting, reading and listening to music in her spare time.

Gaetano Fundaro GDP

Gaetano Fundaro graduated as a Dental Surgeon from the Dental School of Palermo University in Italy in 2002 before beginning private practice in Alcamo. In 2003, he moved to Germany, where he undertook extensive oral surgery training while continuing his private practice. He later relocated to Somerset in 2004, joining both NHS and private dental practices while pursuing postgraduate training in Prosthodontics, the area of dentistry focused on restoring and replacing damaged or missing teeth. Gaetano has completed a Certificate in Implantology from the UCL Eastman Dental Institute and a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry from UCL. He has also attended numerous advanced training courses in the UK and internationally to further develop his clinical skills and knowledge. Gaetano currently practises in Bridgwater at the Advanced Oral Health Centre, Bridge House, and also works across several practices in Somerset, including our practice on South Lawn Terrace. He provides ClearCorrect® aligner treatment and offers a wide range of restorative and aesthetic treatment options tailored to each patient's needs. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys visiting family and friends in Italy and spending quality time with his partner and their three young children.

Huda Almazedi GDP

Huda graduated as a dentist from Baghdad University in 2008 and worked for a few years as a general dentist, before becoming a Specialist Periodontist in Iraq in 2012.Huda developed a special interest in gum aesthetics & health here in the UK and incorporates the use of Laser technology to achieve excellent results, Huda strongly believes that gum health is the core foundation of sound dentition.Huda enhanced her surgical skills even further by completing a Diploma of Membership of the Joint Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2020. During 2021 Huda worked alongside Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton.Huda’s main interest is Periodontology, Smile Makeovers and Clear Aligners.Huda enjoys building relationships with her patients, particularly those who experience dental phobias, and she considers it a privilege to be entrusted with their care.Huda is very passionate about education and is committed to always keeping up to date with the latest techniques and procedures.Outside of dentistry Huda enjoys running, going to the gym, travelling, socialising with friends and cooking.

Dr Mircea Sacui is an experienced general dentist with a strong foundation in both Romanian and UK dental practice. After graduating in dentistry, he completed a three-year postgraduate programme in Romania, specialising in general dentistry. This advanced training allowed him to refine his clinical skills across a wide range of treatments and patient needs.
Following his postgraduate studies, Dr Mircea worked for five years in private practice, delivering high-quality dental care and building a reputation for his professional and compassionate approach. In 2007, he relocated to the UK to continue his career and has since gained extensive experience working across across Somerset and Dorset, including in Taunton, Yeovil, Dorchester, Bridport, and Street.
He spent the early part of his UK career based in Taunton before expanding to other locations, consistently offering patient-focused care and evidence-based treatment.
Dr Mircea is passionate about delivering excellent clinical outcomes while ensuring his patients feel comfortable and well-informed.
Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his family, who live in Spain. He also enjoys playing tennis and football, and has a keen interest in travel and exploring new places.

Julie qualified in 2001 with a CEB Certificate in Dental Hygiene and Dip Dent Therapy from the university of Wales. Julie works with us here, in Yeovil on a part time basis amongst other practices in the Somerset area of {my}dentist. Throughout her time as a hygienist, she has worked in general practice, both in the NHS and privately, giving her a wide range of clinical experience and patient understanding. With this Julie excels in making her patients feel at ease and comfortable whilst promoting and maintaining oral hygiene for all of our patients, often making them want to smile again because Julie believes smiling is a big quality of life.In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her children and grand children and travelling the world.
