Oana's work is outstanding, with many satisfied Patients who have entrusted themselves with Oana to improve their smile. Oana is open to non-registered Patients for private consultations and treatments. Many Patients have gained their confidence to finally smile with their mouth opened after Oana has treated them. Oana has been a very valued addition to Fintra, with word of mouth spreading quickly of how exceptional her work is. We are very blessed to have Oana as part of our Fintra family.

Alan Cassidy is a highly experienced and dedicated general dentist with more than 20 years in practice. Having graduated from Dundee Dental School in 2004, he has built a strong reputation for providing exceptional dental care in a relaxed, comfortable and welcoming environment. Alan is known for his calm, down‑to‑earth manner and his ability to put patients at ease from their very first visit. Alan takes great pride in helping patients achieve confident, healthy smiles. His clinical interests include smile makeovers and oral surgery, and he has a strong passion for patient education and preventative dentistry. He firmly believes that empowering patients with the right knowledge is key to maintaining long‑term oral health. Alongside his clinical work, Alan has spent many years supporting newly qualified dentists as a dental trainer, guiding them through their vocational training year and helping them develop their skills and confidence. Outside the practice, Alan enjoys spending time on the golf course and can often be found cheering on his daughter at her football matches. He is currently welcoming private patients and those joining through the mydentist Dental Plan.

Maeve Mcallister GDP

Maeve McAllister graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2023 and has continued to build strong clinical and academic expertise since qualifying. She completed Dental Foundation Training as Northern Ireland’s first Academic DFT, combining general practice with academic research. During this time, Maeve worked alongside leading researchers at the Centre for Public Health at Queen’s University Belfast and presented her work at local, national and international conferences. Maeve has already achieved a Diploma in Primary Care Dentistry and a Postgraduate Certificate in Restorative Dentistry. She enjoys the variety that general practice offers and is passionate about ensuring patients feel comfortable, informed and at ease throughout their care. Her clinical interests include restorative dentistry, smile enhancements and aesthetic treatments. Maeve is also an accredited ClearCorrect provider, offering discreet clear‑aligner treatment to help patients achieve healthier, more confident smiles. She enjoys tailoring treatment plans to each patient’s goals and takes pride in delivering high‑quality, natural‑looking results.

Laura Stewart joined mydentist in 2011 and brings a wealth of experience to both mydentist Portadown and Fintra. She graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2008 and is dedicated to ensuring patients feel comfortable, relaxed and fully supported throughout their appointments. For Laura, there is nothing more rewarding than helping patients achieve and maintain a healthy mouth through education and personalised care. Laura is experienced in treating a wide range of patients and clinical needs, including those with implants, orthodontic appliances and crown and bridge work. She is committed to staying up to date with the latest research in preventive oral healthcare and continuing professional development, and she also has a growing interest in facial aesthetics. Passionate about community engagement, Laura enjoys working with local schools to deliver oral health education and promote good habits from an early age. Outside of dentistry, Laura leads a busy family life and loves exploring the outdoors. She enjoys hiking across Northern Ireland and travelling abroad for more relaxed family time. A keen runner, she also likes to keep active at the gym.

He is always passionate in giving his patients the knowledge and skills needed to be on top their own oral health. Omar likes to be thorough at what he does and provides an on-going care by following up with his patients to ensure they are on track.In his spare time, Omar loves playing sports, travelling and socialising.
