Dr Marek Kopciuch has a particular passion for creating beautiful, confident smiles through teeth straightening and professional teeth whitening. He also enjoys all aspects of restorative and cosmetic dentistry, including Bioclear, crowns, bridges, porcelain veneers and high-quality private composite restorations. Combined with his extensive surgical and restorative experience, his patient-centred approach enables him to provide natural-looking treatment tailored to each individual's needs. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to long-lasting results, Marek is dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health in a comfortable, supportive environment. He takes the time to understand each patient's goals and works closely with them to deliver personalised care. Marek graduated from the University of Wroclaw in 1988. Following graduation, he spent many years working within the University of Wroclaw's Oral Surgery Department while also managing a successful private dental practice. In 1995, after completing his specialist training, he passed the National Qualifying Examination in Oral Surgery. After relocating to the UK in 2006, he joined NHS Highland as a Senior General Dental Practitioner, further broadening his clinical experience.

A graduate of the Peninsula School of Medicine and Dentistry, Kirsty also holds a BSc (Hons) in Dietetics. This dual qualification allows her to practice "whole-health dentistry", a holistic approach that considers the profound intersection of nutrition, systemic health and oral longevity. Having refined her surgical expertise alongside international industry leaders, she is highly sought after for complex treatment planning and full-mouth rehabilitations. Whether crafting bespoke crowns, bridges or veneers, her primary objective remains the preservation of natural tooth, ensuring results that are as durable and refined. Kirsty can offer minimally invasive cosmetic treatment using Invisalign, ClearCorrect, and Bioclear composite bonding. Known for her composed and empathetic manner, Kirsty has built a reputation for supporting the most anxious patients. Emma Duncalf is a friendly and dedicated Dental Hygiene Therapist at mydentist Plympton. Having worked in dentistry since 2013, she qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist in 2020 and joined the Plympton team in 2021. Born and raised in Devon, Emma is passionate about providing personalised, patient-centred care. She understands that every patient is different and tailors each hygiene appointment and treatment plan to suit individual needs. Whether supporting anxious patients, welcoming someone attending a hygiene appointment for the first time or helping patients with their ongoing oral health maintenance, Emma focuses on creating a positive and informative experience. Emma has a particular interest in preventive dentistry and enjoys helping patients improve their oral health through education, personalised advice and ongoing support. She is committed to helping patients develop healthy habits that support both their oral health and overall wellbeing. Known for her caring and approachable manner, Emma enjoys building positive relationships with her patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout their care. Outside of the practice, Emma enjoys horse riding, dog walking and spending time with family and friends.

Born in Yelverton, daughter of Plymouth and Yelverton dentist Barry Mann and was educated at Tavyside and Tavistock College.On returning from 2 years working in Zimbabwe Itrained as a Dental Hygienist with the Army.Then took a BA Hons in English and Fine Art and a PGCE (English) at London University.I taught English in Watford but left after two years to run a Dental Practice in Rickmansworth Herts.Since then, I have worked in Harley St. with Lionel Wainstein, Cavendish Square with Prof. Eddy Levinson and Neville Bass in Queen Ann St. London among others.After having two daughters, I worked in Clifton, Bristol before moving back down to Devon in 2006. I have been with Tavistock Dental Centre since 2009.I am an author and illustrator of children’s books and play cello and sing in a band.
