Dr Heam Asaad Ghazal graduated in 2014 from a university in the Emirates, where she later became a dental clinical junior instructor, supporting and supervising students as they developed their practical skills. After obtaining her dental licence, she began practising in 2016, with a particular focus on cosmetic dentistry within the Emirates. In 2018, Dr Ghazal registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) and continued her career in the UK, providing both NHS and private dental care. She has built a loyal patient base thanks to her warm, approachable manner and her ability to put even the most anxious patients at ease. Dr Ghazal has a strong passion for cosmetic dentistry and enjoys creating confident, natural smiles. She follows her signature “ABC” approach: A for aligning teeth using straightening systems such as Invisalign, B for brightening smiles with whitening systems including Enlighten and Boutique, and C for contouring teeth through composite bonding. Her goal is to positively transform patients’ lives by enhancing their smiles. Irina is passionate about promoting excellent oral health and believes in building long‑term relationships with her patients. She adopts an honest and open approach, ensuring individuals are fully informed about their treatment options and feel confident in their care. By working closely with each patient, she supports effective dental hygiene routines that contribute to lasting oral health and overall wellbeing. Dr Margarita Goncarova is a highly experienced dentist with over 20 years in the field. She graduated in 2001 from Kaunas University of Medicine and later enhanced her clinical knowledge at Warwick University in the UK.
Dr Margarita has a strong interest in aesthetic dentistry and smile design. In 2024, she completed a postgraduate degree in Dermatology, enabling her to combine dentistry with aesthetic medicine for a more holistic approach to patient care.
She offers a full range of general dentistry services, including preventative care and restorative treatments, alongside cosmetic procedures such as composite bonding, cosmetic restorations, and Invisalign. Her work focuses on helping patients achieve both healthy and confident smiles.
In addition to dental services, Dr Margarita provides medical aesthetic and anti-ageing treatments. These include solutions for bruxism (teeth grinding), migraines, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), and other facial concerns. Her combined expertise allows her to deliver results that address both dental health and facial aesthetics.

Hala first joined {my}dentist working as a dental nurse, although Hala has been an overseas dentist since 2003. In February 2021, Hala registered with the general dental council as a Dental Hygienist in the UK and now works at {my}dentist Parkstone Road as a Dental Hygienist. Hala enjoys improving patient’s oral hygiene and brightening everyone’s smile. Hala has an infectious laugh and an open and friendly personality, you will always see Hala smiling from ear to ear. Hala enjoys meeting and getting to know each one of her patients and making sure that their experience with her is the best it can be! Hala enjoys spending her free time working out in the gym and spending quality time with her family.

She joined the mydentist Parkstone Road team in Poole following the merger with the former mydentist Commercial Road practice, where she continues to provide high-quality preventive dental care. Imanta is passionate about building genuine, long-term relationships with her patients. Her warm, friendly, and approachable manner helps patients feel relaxed and confident, and many look forward to their hygiene appointments not only for the care they receive but also for the welcoming and supportive environment she creates. She has a strong interest in improving oral health and takes great pride in helping patients achieve healthier mouths and brighter smiles through tailored advice and professional hygiene treatments. Outside of work, Imanta enjoys spending quality time with her family, travelling, and exploring different cultures. She also enjoys learning new skills and continually broadening her knowledge, both professionally and personally.

Tina McGowan Hygienist

Tina McGowan began her career in dentistry in 1987 as a Student Dental Nurse in her hometown of Weymouth. She gained her Dental Nursing qualification at Cardiff Dental School in 1991 and, after training at King’s College Hospital, London, qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1993. In 2001, Tina further expanded her skill set by qualifying as a Dental Therapist through Liverpool University, allowing her to carry out additional procedures such as fillings and extractions. Since 2003, Tina has been working in her home county of Dorset, where she has built a wealth of experience across NHS, private, and corporate dentistry. Known for her dedication to patient care, she continues to stay up to date with professional development and extended duties.
Tina is passionate about providing comprehensive care and is committed to supporting her patients in achieving and maintaining excellent oral health. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys life in Dorset with her husband and daughter.
