Amaani Ikram grew up in Saudi Arabia, moving to the UK in 2016 for boarding school, an experience that helped shape both her independence and interest in healthcare. She later went on to study dentistry at the University of Bristol, graduating in 2024. Since qualifying, Amaani has been providing both NHS and private dental care, which has enabled her to develop a broad, balanced approach to patient treatment. Amaani particularly enjoys cosmetic dentistry, including teeth whitening, and has recently begun offering clear aligners for teeth straightening—a side of dentistry that she has really enjoyed exploring and hopes to continue developing! Working across both NHS and private settings gives her the opportunity to deliver a wide range of care and allows her to value the ability to provide more personalised, high-quality treatment through private services. Looking ahead, Amaani is excited to further develop her skills by offering more restorative treatments, such as composite bonding, and to undertake additional hospital-based training. Outside of work, she loves travelling, going to the gym and running, and spending time with her family. She is also a big fan of going out for good food, especially when it involves discovering new places and trying new cuisines.
